Markus ZohnerMarkus Zohner is an actor, director and teacher of various theater courses.After the completion of his theater training, he founded the MARKUS ZOHNER THEATER COMPAGNIE, one of the most innovative and progressive Theatre Companies in Europe staging many diverse productions. The company performs at theatres and theatre festivals throughout the world. He also directs plays for other theatre companies and theatres throughout Europe. For many of his performances he as received prestigous Theatre Awards in Europe, USA and Asia. Markus Zohner teaches master classes for actors including "The Creativity of the Actor" and "Theatre Improvisation and the Art of Creating”. He is editor of INDEPENDENT THEATRE, a theatre magazine published 4 times a year. In 2000, he founded Markus Zohner Theatre Academy, a theatre school offering workshops and master classes. Markus Zohner also writes for several Newspapers and Magazines such as Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) and Independent Theatre. |
