Thank you very much for your message!
We are very happy that you enjoyed HA!HAmlet!
Your request to "know everything about our style" is quite complicated...
I do not think I can really answer you...
What I can say is that the style comes out of the need to say/do
something. It is a form which appears when you create, giving yourself
conditions.
Or, said in a different way: Style is, at least in our work, never the FIRST
concern. It always comes by itself, if you create in conditions you give to
yourself, and in relation to the aim where you wish to arrive to.
So, the "style" of ODYSSEY you saw in Yerevan is a result of something-
and this also means that new performances will automatically have a
different style- because the conditions and the aims will have changed.
Well, there would be much to talk (and to write maybe?) about it, it is a
very big and interesting theme.
I am sorry I have no 'simple' answer on this, I cannot really write about
'our style'- because it is just a result of a research, nothing 'fixed' or
'clear'. I am much morr looking at the 'research', leaving the style
behind, as it will follow like a dog- well, let's hope the dog is well
educated!
So, stay well!
Write again if you wish, and maybe we'll meet sometime!
I do not know if, after the last two years we have been there, will soon
come back to Yerevan. But stay in touch, check our tour plan from time
to time, perhaps we'll meet somewhere in the world...
Thank you again for your kind mail,
best wishes!
Markus
